Website brief, 5 minutes, quote in 24h
The SEVENEDGE brief form is 5 minutes of your time and complete information for us to quote the project in 24 hours. The brief has 12 questions across 4 sections: about the firm (industry, location, USP), about the project (goals, sections, integrations), about style (inspirations, colors, fonts, mood), about organization (budget, deadline, who on your side decides). Every question has hints and examples, you do not need to know marketing or technical jargon. After submitting the brief you receive a confirmation email with the order number and an estimated reply time.
What you get in reply to the brief?
Within 24 hours (usually 4-8h on business days) you receive an email with a PDF document containing: 1) a summary of your brief in our words (check whether we understood you correctly), 2) a package recommendation (Start/Standard/Premium with reasoning for why this one and not another), 3) a concrete net and gross price, 4) project timeline with specific dates (e.g. 'start November 6, design approval November 13, publication November 18'), 5) a list of items that need your decision before the start (logo, domain, hosting data, photos of people/products). After your approval we send the contract (PDF for electronic signature via Autenti) and an advance invoice for 50%.
Brief vs contact, which to pick?
The brief is for people ready to start a project, you know you want a site, you have a rough budget and deadline. General contact is for people at the research stage, you are comparing agencies, you have questions about our process, you want an audit of your current site before deciding on a new one. Both go to the same team, the difference is only in the questions we ask back. If you hesitate, pick the brief. You can skip fields you do not know (e.g. budget) and we will clarify in the reply email.
Free quote, where is the catch?
A website quote at SEVENEDGE is free and without commitment, you can take the quote and walk it over to another agency. We do this for two reasons: 1) our packages are standardized, so a quote is 30-60 minutes of founder work, not 'a week of a business analyst', 2) experience shows that a good quote builds trust even when the client picks someone else, they return after 6-12 months with a second project or refer us to a friend. The only 'commitment' is the fact that if you decide to go with the project, the quote is valid for 30 days from the date sent.
